I graduated from Branford High School in 1977, attended Santa Fe Community College, married and moved to the Alachua area in 1981 and was a partner in a family farm operation until 1989. I joined Farm Bureau Federation in 1989 and serve in many areas of leadership in the community. Currently I am in my third year as Board member of the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce, active in community youth activities, was named State Rookie in 1999 for the State of Florida, a two time all-star round table winner for Farm Bureau, and a member of the Top 5 Big Hitters for 1998.
